Ga. 22] Determination of the Ownership of the Divisions of the Uttaraprakrti
187. With an innumerable part of the Itthi-veda (female sex-energy), the soul was filled. Then, having attained samyaktva (right faith), it died and was reborn as a Saudharma-Isana Kalpa-vasi deva (celestial being). There, with the same (Itthi-veda), the Purusa-veda (male sex-energy) was filled. Then, having fallen from there, it was born as a human and quickly consumed all the kasayas (passions). Then, abandoning the nava-sata-veda (nine and a half Vedas), in which the Itthi-veda was cast, at that time, the ownership of the highest region of the Purusa-veda was its karmic state.
16. By the same (soul), when the regions of the Purusa-veda and the six nokasayas (minor passions) were cast into the Krodha-samjalana (outburst of anger), at that time, the ownership of the highest region of the Krodha-samjalana was its karmic state.
17. The same (soul), when the Mana (pride) was cast into the Krodha-samjalana, at that time, the ownership of the highest region of the Mana was its karmic state.
18. The same (soul), when the Mana was cast into the Maya (deceit), at that time, the ownership of the highest region of the Maya-samjalana was its karmic state.
19. The same (soul), when the Maya was cast into the Lobha-samjalana (greed), at that time, the ownership of the highest region of the Lobha-samjalana was its karmic state.
