**Kapāy Pāhuḍ Sutta**... [4 sections]
**What is the difference in the time period for the lowest karma of the six nokapāyas?**
The lowest time period is one moment, and the highest time period is six months.
**Why?**
Because the lowest karma of these six nokapāyas is generated by the destruction of the perception of delusion and the destruction of the perception of the destroyer. The highest time period for these is six months.
**What is the difference in the time period for the lowest karma of the four anantānubandhī kapāyas?**
The lowest time period is one moment, and the highest time period is as many time periods as there are countless lokas.
**Why?**
Because the results of the combination of the anantānubandhī kapāyas are found to be as many as countless lokas.
**What is the difference in the time period for the lowest karma of the female and neuter genders?**
The lowest time period is one moment, and the highest time period is countless years.
**Why?**
Because the highest time period for the beings who ascend the destroyer series from the female and neuter genders is found to be as many as years. There are three to nine distinct names, and there are countless names for two and above. Therefore, the highest time period for both of these genders is proven to be as many as years.
**What is the difference in the time period for the lowest karma of the three sanjalana kapāyas and the male gender?**
The lowest time period is one moment, and the highest time period is one year and a little more.
**Why?**
The highest time period of one year and a little more is possible in this way:
A being ascends the destroyer series from the male gender and performs the lowest karma of the male gender and moves upwards. After six months, another being ascends the destroyer series from the neuter gender. In this way, after countless years have passed, another being ascends the destroyer series from the male gender and performs the lowest karma of the male gender. In this way, the highest time period for the male gender is obtained. The highest time period for the three sanjalana kapāyas should also be understood in the same way.
