Kasaya Pahuda Sutta

63. In the same way, the remaining (gatis) should be understood by inference.
[64. Time.] 65. The maximum duration of the state of wrong belief (mithyatva) is one samaya. 66. The minimum duration is one samaya. 67. The maximum duration is within an antarmuhurta.
[3. Duration of the state]
The capacity to bind the duration of a koti-koti-sagaropama is absent. Thus, in both the moments of the vibhaga-gati, the minimum duration of the state of the mithyatva-prakriti of the present living being is (established). The minimum duration of the state of the twelve kasayas, such as apratyakhyana-avarana, and the two nokasayas, fear and disgust, of this very living being is also (established). The only specialty is that where the minimum duration of the binding of its mithyatva was less than the number of palya-upama-sagar, here the minimum duration of the binding of these fourteen prakriti of the same living being is four parts out of seven parts of a palya-upama-sahasra. Except for fear and disgust, the ownership of the minimum duration of the state of the remaining seven nokasayas should also be known in the same way. The difference is only that the binding-vyucchhitti of those prakriti, whose binding does not occur in the hell-gati, takes place only in the last moment of the asanjni-pancendriya-bhava, and their pratipakshi prakriti like arati etc. start binding from the first moment of arising in the hell-gati. Therefore, at the last moment of the binding-time of their respective pratipakshi prakriti, the ownership of the minimum duration of those prakriti should be known.
Churni-sutra - In the same way, the ownership should be inferred in the remaining gatis. 63.
Special meaning - Just as the ownership of the minimum duration of all the prakriti has been described in the hell-gati above, in the same way, the investigation of the ownership of the minimum duration of all the prakriti of the moha-karma should be done in the remaining three gatis. And since this sutra is indicative, the determination of the minimum duration in the remaining marga-nas like indriya etc. should also be done in the same way. The Churnikara has given this information, therefore, the curious persons should see the detailed explanation given by the Acarya on this sutra in the Jayadhvala commentary on the Sthiti-bandha-prakarana of the Maha-bandha.
