Gāthā 22] The determination of the stages of bondage (sthiti-vibhakti) has been explained in the Anuyogadvāra. For example, the minimum duration of the bondage of the Mohanīya karma is one samaya, and the maximum duration of continuous bondage is an antarmuhūrta. The minimum duration of the non-maximum bondage is an antarmuhūrta, and the maximum duration is infinite, measured by an innumerable number of pudgala-parivartan. The minimum and maximum duration of the minimum bondage is one samaya. The duration of the non-minimum bondage is beginningless-endless and beginningless-with-an-end.
In the Antaraprarupana-anuyogadvara, the consideration is made regarding the interval between the binding of the same specified karma after its previous binding. The minimum interval of the maximum bondage of the Mohanīya karma is an antarmuhūrta, and the maximum interval is infinite, measured by an innumerable number of pudgala-parivartan. There is no interval in the minimum bondage, as the minimum state of the Mohanīya karma occurs in the last moment of the tenth gunasthana of the ksapaka jiva. The minimum interval of the non-minimum bondage is one samaya, and the maximum interval is an antarmuhūrta. This statement is with reference to the great bondage (mahābandha). Jaydhavala has denied the interval of the minimum and non-minimum bondage of the Mohanīya karma.
Regarding the division (bhanga-vicaya) for different jivas in this Anuyogadvara, the number of divisions between the jivas who bind the maximum and non-maximum duration is: Egasamaya, ukkasena atommuhutta. Anukkasamaya sthitibandha jahannena atommuhutta. Ukkasena anantakalam asamkhyeya pudgalapariyatta. Jahannena pagadham. Duviho niso-ogena adesenaya.
