[Ga. 22]
Exposition of the Distinction of the Levels of Prakritis (Intrinsic Natures) 106. The beings with the division of five Samtakammas (Karmic Aggregates) are the least in number. 107. The beings with the division of one Samtakamma are innumerable times more. 108. The beings with the division of two Samtakammas are distinctly more. 109. The beings with the division of three Samtakammas are distinctly more. 110. The beings with the division of eleven Samtakammas are distinctly more. 111. The beings with the division of twelve Samtakammas are distinctly more. 112. The beings with the division of four Samtakammas are innumerable times more. 113. The beings with the division of thirteen Samtakammas are innumerable times more. 114. The duration of the division of twenty-two Samtakammas is infinitely more. The duration of the division of twenty-four Prakritis is innumerable times more than the duration of the division of twenty-one Prakritis. The duration of the division of twenty-eight Prakritis is distinctly more than the duration of the division of twenty-four Prakritis. This distinctly more duration is equal to three infinitesimal parts of a Palyopama. The duration of the division of twenty-six Prakritis is infinitely more than the duration of the division of twenty-eight Prakritis, because the duration of the division of twenty-six Prakritis is described as beginningless-endless, as well as with a beginning and an end. The ultimate duration, which is described as half a Pudgala-Parivartan, is also called the beginning-and-end duration, so its duration is said to be infinitely more. The duration of the division of four, three, two, and one Prakritis is both the minimum and the maximum. Among them, the minimum duration is for the beings risen to the Apakshreṇī (lower state) due to the rise of other Kashayas, and the maximum duration is for the beings risen by their own rise. And the minimum and maximum duration of the division from five to twenty-three Prakritis is similar, except that there is also a minimum duration for the division of thirteen and twelve Prakritis.
