जब ग्रन्थ प्रेसमें दे दिया गया और ग्रन्थ-सम्पादकको अपने अनुवादके संशोधनार्थ मृल जयधवलके मुद्रित संस्करणकी आवश्यकता प्रतीत हुई, तब श्री १०८ आ० शान्तिसागर जिनवाणी जीर्णोद्धारक संस्थाके मत्री श्रीमान् सेठ वालचन्द्र देवचन्द शाह वी० ए० बम्बईने स्वीकृति देकर और श्री० पं० सुमेरुचन्द्रजी दिवाकर सिवनी, सम्पादक-महाबन्धने उसकी प्रति प्रदान करके चूर्णिसूत्रोके निर्णय और अनुवादके संशोधनमें सहायता दी है। इसके लिये हम आपके भी आभारी है।
सिद्धान्त-ग्रन्थोंके फोटो लेनेके लिये जब मैं २ वर्ष पूर्व मूडबिद्री गया, तब वहांके धर्मसस्थानके स्वामी श्री १०८ भट्टारक चारुकीर्तिजी महाराजने, तथा सिद्धान्त-वसतिमन्दिरके ट्रस्टी श्री० धर्मस्थल जी हैगडे, श्री० एम० धर्मसाम्राज्यजी मंगलोर, श्री के० वी० जिनराजजी हैगडे, श्री० डी० पुट्टस्वामी सम्पादक-कनडी पत्र विवेकाभ्युदय मैसूर, श्री देवराजजी एम० ए० एल एल वी० वकील, श्री० धर्मपालजी सेट्टी मूडबिद्री और श्री० पद्मराज सेट्टीने फोटो लेनेकी केवल स्वीकृति ही नहीं प्रदान की, बल्कि सर्व प्रकारकी रहन-सहनकी सुविधा और व्यवस्था भी की। श्री० पं० भुजवलीजी शास्त्री, श्री० एस् चन्द्रराजेन्द्रजी शास्त्री और श्री०प० नागराज शास्त्रीने प्रर्याप्त सहयोग प्रदान किया। प्रस्तुत ग्रन्थके मुद्रित होजाने पर जब कुछ संदिग्ध चूर्णिसूत्रोंके निर्णयार्थ जयधवलाकी ताडपत्रीय प्रतिसे मिलानकी आवश्यकता अनुभव की गई, तब ग्रन्थके मुद्रित फार्म श्री चन्द्रराजेन्द्रजी शास्त्रीके पास मूडविद्री भेजे गये और उन्होंने बड़ी तत्परता और सावधानीके साथ सभी संदिग्ध स्थलों पर ताड़पत्रीय प्रतिके पाठ लिखकर भेजे । साथ ही मूलप्रतिकी सूत्रारम्भके एवं सूत्र-समाप्तिके सूचक विराम चिह्न आदिकी कुछ विशिष्ट सूचनाएं भी भेजीं । शास्त्रीजीकी इस अमूल्य सेवाके लिये हम उन्हें खास तौरसे धन्यावद देते हैं ।
अन्तमें इतना और स्पष्ट कर देना मैं आवश्यक समझता हूँ कि श्री वीरशासनसंघके प्रकाशन प्रचारकी दृष्टिसे ही किये जाते हैं और इस कारण न्योछावरमें किञ्चिन्मात्र भी लाभ नहीं रखा जाता है। श्रावणकृष्णा प्रतिपदा वि० स० २०१२ ।

तीनो निद्धान्त अन्योकी एकमात्र उपलब्ध प्राचीन ताड़पत्रीय प्रतियोके जीर्णाद्वारके लिये इन्हे नेशनल पारकाइब्ञ, नई दिल्लीमें भेजकर उनकी रक्षा करनेके प्रस्तावको स्वीकार कर उनका जीर्णोद्धार पूर्ण रूपसे कराने में भी प्राप लोग ही सहायक हुए है।

When I went to Moodbidri two years ago to take photographs of the Siddhanta texts, the Swami of the religious institution there, Shri 108 Bhattarak Charukirtiji Maharaj, and the trustees of the Siddhanta-Vasatimandara, Shri Dharmasthalji Hagde, Shri M. Dharmasamrajaji Mangalore, Shri K.V. Jinrajji Hagde, Shri D. Puttaswami, editor of the Kannada newspaper Vivekabhyudaya Mysore, Shri Devarajji M.A. LL.B. Advocate, Shri Dharmpalji Setti Moodbidri and Shri Padmaraj Setti, not only granted permission to take photographs, but also provided all kinds of accommodation and arrangements. Shri P. Bhujavaliji Shastri, Shri S. Chandrarajendraji Shastri and Shri P. Nagaraj Shastri provided ample assistance. When the present text was printed, and the need was felt to compare it with the palm leaf manuscript of Jayadhavala for the purpose of deciding some doubtful Churnisutra, the printed form of the text was sent to Shri Chandrarajendraji Shastri in Moodbidri, and he, with great promptness and care, sent the text of the palm leaf manuscript for all the doubtful places. He also sent some specific information about the punctuation marks indicating the beginning and end of the sutras in the original manuscript. We thank him especially for this invaluable service.
