Kasaya Pahuda - Suttagaha
(7) The entry of the seventh step of the heart should be understood as continuous or intermittent. (60)
(8) At that time, it may be more or less intense. If it arises for an instant, it lasts for an instant. (61)
(9) Whatever it contaminates, whatever it binds, and whatever it manifests - all that should be understood in the anubhaga (subtle division) and pradeśa (spatial division). (62)
Upayoga - Atyahikara
(10) For how long is the upayoga (application of the mind) in a particular kasaya (passions)? Who is the doer? What is the nature of the upayoga that is engaged in it? (63)
(11) In one bhavagrana (existence-group), how many upayogas are there in one kasaya? And in one upayoga, how many kasayas are there? (64)
(12) In a particular kasaya, how many upayoga-varganas (groups of upayogas) are there? And in the course of a gati (state of existence), how many varganas will there be? (65)
(13) In one anubhaga (subtle division) of one kasaya at one time, is the upayoga the same or different? (66)
(14) How many similar upayogas are there in the kasayas? And how many kasayas are there, and which ones are different from which? (67)
(15) Whichever kasayas the upayogas have been engaged in previously, they will be engaged in them again. This should be understood everywhere. (68)
(16) The upayoga-varganas are never devoid of (the upayogas), and sometimes they are devoid of them. This should be understood from the first moment to the last. (69)
