REVIEW
It was with great interest that I went through the "Jaina-granthaprasasti-sangraha" edited by Pandit Paramanand Jain Shastri. The work includes 122 prasastis from Apabhiamsa work by Jain authors.
The prasastis are a mine of historical information. They are important source material because most of them are from unpublished works. The author has taken pains to collect all availadle information about the poets and their patrons. An exhaustive introduction of over 140 pages and il appendices make the work useful even 10 a general student of history, who cannot read Praorits, particularly Apabhramsa. I congratulate Pandt ParmaNand Shastri on his excellent performance.
