स्व० लालाजीके अमर उद्गारोके विरुद्ध शायद कर्त्तृ वादका प्रगाढ पोषक यह कहे कि यह तो सफल राजनीतिज्ञकी जोशभरी वाणी है, जो प्रशान्त दार्शनिक चिन्तनके विमल प्रकाशसे बहुत दूर है। ऐसे व्यक्तियोको पाश्चात्त्य तर्क-विद्याके पिता अरस्तू महाशय जैसे शान्त, विचारवान् चिन्तककी निम्नलिखित पक्तियोको पढकर अपने व्यामोहको दूर करना चाहिए - "ईश्वर किसी भी दृष्टिसे विश्वका निर्माता नही हैं । सब अविनाशी पदार्थ परमार्थिक है। सूर्य, चन्द्र तथा दृश्यमान आकाश सब सक्रिय है । ऐसा कभी नही होगा कि उनकी गति अवरुद्ध हो जाए । यदि हम उन्हें परमात्माके द्वारा प्रदत्त पुरस्कार माने तो या तो हम उसे अयोग्य न्यायाधीश अथवा अन्यायी न्याय - कर्ता बना डालेंगे | यह बात परमात्माके स्वभावके विरुद्ध है। जिस आनन्दकी अनुभूति परमात्माको होती है वह इतना महान् है कि हम उसका कभी रसास्वाद कर सकते हैं । वह आनन्द आश्चर्यप्रद है । "

? God is in no sense the Creator of the universe. All imperishable things are actual sun, moon, while visible heaven is always active There is no time that they will stop. If we attribute these gifts to God, we shall make him either an incompetent judge or an unjust one and it is alien to his nature. Happiness which God enjoys is as great as that, which we can enjoy sometimes. It is marvellous.
