Itlia is substituted for the affixes dávat i staa) &c. which affixed to the words यद, तद and एतद give the sensc of measure or quantity; and the word gas is clided; as जित्तियं (यावत); तित्ति (तावत् ); इत्तिअं ( एतावत);
॥ इदं किमो डेत्ति, डेतिल्ल, डेदहाः ॥ ८ ।
इदं किं शब्दाभ्यां डावतो, डेत्तित्र, खेततिल डेदहा इत्यादेशा भवन्ति । ___Dettia (डेत्तिय), dettilla (डेत्तिल), and deddaha (डेद्दह) are substituted for the affix davat (डावत्) which affixed to the words idam (इदम् ) and lim (किम् ) signify quantity or measure ; as एत्ति, एत्तिलं, एदहं (इयत्); केत्ति, केत्तिल्ल केद्दहं (कियत्); केषांचिन्मते सूत्रमिदं यत्तदेतेष्वपि प्रवर्तते according to some authorities this rule applies to the words यत् तत् and एतत् also ; एतदोलोपच and the word एतद् is clided, as जेत्ति, जेत्तिल जेद्दहं (यावत ) &c.
॥ कृत्वसो हुत्तं ॥६। कृत्वम् प्रत्ययस्थाने हुत्तमित्यादेशो भवति ।
Hutta is substituted for the affix kritwas; as 4557 (वहुकृत्वः)।
॥ आल्चि, लो, ला, ल, वन्ते, न्ता, मतुपः ॥ १० ।
भालु, दुल्ल, उल्ल, बाल, वन्त, इन्त, इत्यत श्रादेशा मतुप स्थाने भवन्ति । १
१। केषाञ्चिन्मते मन्तेरावपि according to some manta and ira are also substituted for the same, as सिरिमन्तो ( श्रीमान्); पुसमतो ( पुण्यमान्) ; धरि रो (धनवान् इत्यादि)।
