कल्पलतिकामते विष्णु-वाचिनि कृष्ण शब्दे च विकल्प नेत्वं भवति ; According to kalpalatika when the word krishna means vishnu, i is optionally substituted for ri as किण हो, कण्हो (कृष्णः);
॥ पृष्ठे वाऽनुत्तर पदे ॥ ६ ६ । ॥ पृष्ठशब्देऽनुत्तरपदे ऋत दद्भवति वा ।
When the word Pristha is not preceded by any other words ie does not stand as a last word in a compound, the xi optionally becomes i; as पिठ्ठ, पट्ट (पृष्ठं); अनुत्तरपद afa fe ? Why did we say when it is not preceded by any other word ? Examine the following ; महिविट्ठ (महीपृष्ठ);
॥ उदृत्वादौ ॥ ६७ । १ । ऋतु इत्यादिषु शब्देषु अादे श्रृंत उद्भवति । ___In ritu &c. el is substituted for the first xi as : प्रा० स० प्रा० स० प्रा० स० उदू तु परामुट्ठो परामृष्टः पुढे पृष्ठ

१ प्राकृत प्रकाशे “उदृत्वादिष्वित्येवं सूचमस्ति (प्रा०१८।१) Praleritaprakasa puts ritwadi in plural instead of singular, as alfr; Ritwadi is thus ennumerated in leelpalatilea (कल्पलतिकायां श्रुत्वादिगणो यथा। अतुर्मदङ्गो निभृतं, वृतः, परभृतो मृतः। प्रावट, प्रवृत्तिर्वृत्तान्तो, माटका घाटकस्तथा । मुणाल पथिवी वृन्दावन जामादका अपि । वृन्दारकच प्रभृतिः एष्ठ वृद्धादयः परे लक्षानुसारतो जेथाः।
