महात्म-विभूतिः
(72) Those who are liberal in views towards other religions and realise in their heart universal brotherhood, even though adhering to their own religion, maintain friendly relations with all.
सन्तः सहृदया एव सर्वत्रोदारवर्त्तिनः ।
धर्मं प्रभावयन्ति स्वं द्योतयन्ति च दर्शनम् ॥ ७३ ॥
અધા સાથે ઉદાર વર્તન રાખનારા સહૃદય સજ્જને જ ખરી રીતે પાતાના ધની પ્રભાવના કરે છે અને પેાતાના દર્શનને તેજસ્વી મનાવે છે. ( ૭૩ )
(73) Only those good-hearted and wise persons who are liberal in their behaviour towards others, dignify their own religion in the eyes of others, and add lustre to their Darshana.
बाह्यरूढिप्रणाली च धर्मश्च भवतः पृथक् । साध्यसाधनयोर्भेददर्शनाद् दर्शनं भवेत्
માહ્ય રીતિરિવાજ અનેધમ નેાખા છે. ( ધમ સાધ્ય છે અને રીર્તાવાજોની ઉપયાગિતા એને અનુકૂળ થવામાં છે.) આમ સાધ્ય અને સાધનના ભેદ સમજવાથી દર્શીન આવે છે. ( ૭૪ )

(74) Practice of true Dharma and observance of external rituals are two distinct things. (The former is the end and the latter the means). Proper realisation of the distinction between
the end and the means, leads to Darshvna (correct understanding).
कालप्रवाहतो यद् यद् रूढिरूपम संगतम् । भवेदापतितं धर्मे समपास्यं विमृश्य तत्
|| ૭૧ ॥
કાલના પ્રવાહ સાથે ધર્મ-સપ્રદાયમાં જે જે રૂઢિરૂપ અસ ંગત પેસી ગયું હાય તેને વિચારી-સમજી દૂર કરવું જોઇએ. ( ૭૫ )
