चतुर्य-प्रकरणम् * ૮૨. ક્રોધાદિ દેવો પ્રગટવાના સંજોગો પહેલેથી જ વિચારી લઈ દૂર રાખવા અથવા પોતે તેવા સયોગોથી દૂર રહેવું. પ્રસંગવશાત એ દોષોને ઉદય થાય ત્યારે તેમને કાબૂમાં લેવા ઉક્ત (ક્ષમા વગેરે) ઉપાયો લેવા.
82. One should anticipate probable occasions lik-ly to engepder passions like Anger and others and try to keep them away cr to keep away from them. Neveribe less if any of them arisce cwing to unavoidable circumstances, care abould be taken to curb it inmediat-ly by any of the appropriate ineans already described.
आसाद्यते नो भवरूपतीमवनस्य पारं शिवमन्तरेण । प्रचण्डमात्मीयबलप्रयोगमखण्डदीर्घोज्ज्वलसाधनाभिः

૮૩ દઘ કાળ સુધી અખંડ શુભ સાધના દ્વારા આત્માનું અના વિય ફેરવ્યા વગર સંસારરૂપ ભીષણ અરણ્યને કલ્યાણરૂપ પાર પમાય નહિ, પાતો નથી.
83 Without putting forth infinite power of one's soul tbrough employment of appropriate pure means for . lovg time without interruption, it is impossible to cross over to the suspicions other end of the horrible forest of Samsára.
ऐकान्तिकाऽऽत्यन्तिकदुःखनाशो भव-प्रपञ्च पतितस्य नास्ति । तत्साधनं सर्वकषायजालनि:शेषनिमूलनमेकमात्रम् ॥ ८४ ॥
૮૪. સંસાર–પ્રપંચના મેહમાં પડેલાને માટે દુઃખને એકતિક અને આત્યન્તિક ન શ અસંભવ જ છે. દુઃખ માત્રથી છૂટવા માટે સમગ્ર કષાયજાલનું સપૂર્ણ ઉમૂલન જ એક માત્ર ઉપાય છે.
