કર૬ વાહનાઝ તજાત્રા કરમાવાચારમાં થી. तत्वस्य सिद्धेः पथ एक एव योगो विना यं खलु नास्मसिद्धिः ॥॥ ११४॥
૧૧૪ જ્યાં આત્મસાધના નથી, ત્યાં વાદચર્ચાથી કે તર્કપરમ્પરાના બલથી પ્રકાશ શું મળે? તત્ત્વસિદ્ધિને એક માત્ર માગ વેગસાધન છે. (અને ગસાધનાને માર્ગ શુદ્ધ ધર્મ સાધન છે.) નિઃસન્ટેડ, આત્મસાધના વગર આત્મસિદ્ધિ નથી,
114 Neither by discussion nor by logical reasoning can there be enlightenment of the inner intelligence of those who have not directed their efforts to the elevation of their spiritual life. The only way to kuow what is the truth is Yoga, without which it is quite impossible to have knowledge of the Self,
शास्त्रार्थशक्त्या न पराभिभूतरभ्यासमात्रान च शास्त्रराशेः। सिद्धि समागच्छति तत्वभूमिरालम्बतेऽसौ शमशालि शीलम् ॥।॥ ११५ ॥
૧૧૫ શાસ્ત્રાર્થબળથી બીજાને પરાસ્ત કરવાથી કે શાસ્ત્ર સમૂહના અભ્યાસમાત્રથી તત્વભુમિ પ્રાપ્ત થઈ શકતી નથી. પરંતુ તેની પ્રાપ્તિ ઉપશમશાલી શીલ ઉપર આધાર રાખે છે.
115. Neither the study of the heaps of scriptures por victory over others on the strength of scriptural erudition, leads to realization of the truth; but it depends upon good conduct characterized by inental trauquillity.
न शब्दभेदे कलहो विधेयो नानाविधानां खलु दर्शनानाम् । विचारणीयं परमार्थतत्वं समं हि पश्यन्ति समेक्षिणस्तु ।। ॥ ११६ ।।
