૫૯ જે, દ્રવ્યની લાલસાએ કેઢીયાને પણ જાણે એ કામદેવ ન હોય એવી સ્નેહભરી દષ્ટિથી જુએ, અને નિઃસ્નેહ છતાં બહારને ખેટે સનેહ દેખાડે એવી ગણિકાનો સંગ ન કરીએ,
59. A man should never seek the company of a harlot wbo, though devoid of true love in her heart, outwardly shows great regard for him and who, out of greed for money looks upon even a leper witis an eye of tender love, as if he wer: the god Cupid himself.
देहस्य हानिर्द्रविणस्य हानिर्यिवेकहानिर्यशमश्च हानिः । एवं महाहानिपदं विचार्य दौर्जन्यभूमि न मजेत वेश्याम् ।। ६० ॥
૬૦. શરીરની હાનિ, ધનની હાનિ, વિવેકની હાનિ અને આબરૂની હાનિ આમ ગણિકા સંગ મહાહાનિકારક છે. આમ સમજી દુરાચારના, દુર્જનતાના અખાડાસમી એનાથી છેટા રહીએ.
60. By the company of barlots, body, money, wisdom and fame-all are destroyed. Thus knowing them to be an abode of ruin as well as of wickedness, one should refrain from their contact.
रूपं यदेव प्रविलोक्य मायेद् आभ्यन्तरं तस्य यदि स्वरूपम् । विचिन्तयेत् तत्त्वशा, न तर्हि जनः स्मरान्दोलित-मानसः स्यात् ।। ६१॥
૬૧. જે રૂપ જોઈ માણસ મત્ત-પ્રમત્ત-ઉન્મત્ત થાય છે તેના અન્તરિક સ્વરૂપ પર તે જે દિષ્ટિપાત કરે, તે તરફ જે વિચારષ્ટિ ફેંકે તે તેનું ચિત્ત કામના આન્દોલનોથી ન ઘેરાય, ઘેરતું અટકી જાય.
