अध्यात्मतवालोकः
अस्थ्नां प्रभूतं बलमर्पयन्तं रक्तप्रवाह प्रविकासयन्तम् । मुखे प्रतापारुणतां सृजन्तं न पालयेद् ब्रह्म-यमं सुधीः का ? ॥१५॥
૪૫. હીઓમાં જબરદસ્ત શક્તિ રેડનાર, લેહીને સુન્દર વિકસિત બનાવનાર અને મુખાકૃતિ પર પ્રતાપની લાલિમા ભરી દેનાર એવું બ્રહ્મચર્ય કોણ ડાહ્યો માણસ ને સાચવે ?
45. Who, if he is wise, will not observe the vow of delibacy which gives immense strength to the bones, which develops the corpuscles of blood and which imparts the glow of vigour to the face. ?
न तं शरपर्वहिमांशुभासः प्रह्लादमुत्पादयितुं क्षमेरन् । न तं रसं दिव्यफलानि चापि हलादं रसं ब्रह्म यमातनोति ॥ ४६॥
૪૬. શરદ ઋતુના પૂર્ણચન્દ્રની જ્યોત્સના તે આહલાદ આપવા અસમર્થ છે અને દિવ્ય ફળ તે રસ આપવા અશક્ત છે કે જે આહૂલાદને જે રસ બ્રહ્મચર્ય સાધનના વિકાસમાંથી મળી શકે છે.
46. Neither the autumnal full moon nor the celestial fruits are able to give that pleagure and Batialaction which chastity bestows.
यत् प्राणभूतं चरितस्य, हेतुः परः परब्रह्मणि यच्च, यस्मात् । निर्याति मेधा तटिनीव शैलात् तत् पालयन ब्रह्म न पूज्यते कैः १ ॥४७॥
