तृतीय-प्रकरणम्
42. Wise persons sbould try to observe the vow of celibacy wbich, like the sun shining with full lastre, destroye the darkness of calamities and which, like the wish-yielding tree, gives the desired objects.
सिंहासने चोपविशन् सुरेन्द्रः प्रवन्दते यान् शुचिभक्ति-नम्रः । ते ब्रह्मचर्यव्रतबद्धचित्ता मनस्विनो मर्त्य भुवां जयन्ति ॥ ४३ ॥
૪૩, જેઓને સ્વર્ગપુરીને સમ્રા ઈન્દ્ર પિતાના સિંહાસન પર બેસવા જતાં શુદ્ધ ભક્તિનમ થઈ વન્દન કરે છે તે બ્રહ્મચર્યનિષ્ઠ મનસ્વીએ મનુષ્યલોકમાં જ્યવન્ત છે.
43. Those high-minded persons intent upon observing the von of celibacy, to whom Indra, the lord of the gods, humble with pure devotion, bowg down, while taking his seat on the throne, are always victorious on the Earth.
फलन्ति मन्त्रा वहते च कीतिरध्यासते सन्निधिमप्यमाः । यस्मिन् सति प्रस्फुरितप्रभावे तद् ब्रह्मचर्य सुविचारलम्यम् ॥४४॥
જ. જેના મહાન પ્રભાવે મન્નો ફળે છે, કીરિ વહે છે અને દેવો સમીપમાં ઉપસ્થિત થાય છે તે બ્રહ્મચર્ય વિચારશુદ્ધિ પર અવલંબિત છે.
44. The vow of celibacy, by means of which sacred Mantrar fructify, fame spreads over the Earth and even gode honour the cbaste with their presence, is attainable only by resolute good thoughts.
