કવર કહળદૂ -
31. Is there anyone in this world with whom we can iden. tily and associate ourselves and can thus make ourselves happy ? All being under the potent influence of illusion (1), who can, with association with whom, achieve his spiritual good ?
सर्वे च तृष्णानलतापतप्ताः शक्नोति कस्यार्पयितुं शमं का ? क्रियेत सम्बन्धविधिश्च केन ? न तस्य हि क्वापि फलावहत्वम् ॥३२॥
૩૨ બધા તૃષ્ણાગ્નિના તાપમાં બળી રહ્યા છે. કે કેને શાન્તિ આપી શકે? સમ્બન્ધ પણ ક્યાં કરે? કેમકે વાસ્તવિક રીતે સફલ થાય એ સમ્બન્ધ કયાં સાંપડે?
32. All being scorched by the fire of desires, who is capable of giving peace to others ? With whom are we to associate when suoh association is incapable of any fruitful result ?
(i. e. when there is no possibility of an association such as would lead to really good reenlt ? )
सर्वे पराधीनतयैव सन्ति का कं स्वतन्त्रं क्षमते विधातुम् ? स्वयं दरिद्रो हि परं विधातुमाढ्यं कथङ्कारमलम्भविष्णुः १ ॥ ३३ ॥
૩૩ બધા પરાધીન છે. કેણ કેને સ્વતન્ત્ર બનાવી શકે? પોતે જ દરિદ્ર હેય, તે બીજાને કેવી રીતે સમૃદ્ધ બનાવી શકે ?
33. None being master of himself, who can then liberate others? How can one, himself poverty.striken, make others rich?
सो जनः स्वार्थनिमग्नचेताः स्वार्थश्व सम्बन्धविधानदक्षा। प्रेम-प्रदीपस्य स एव तैलं स्वार्थे समाप्ते खलु कः किमीय १ ॥ ३४॥
૩૪ બધા પિતાના સ્વાર્થમાં મશગૂલ છે. સ્વાર્થ જ સમ્બન્ધને સર્જનહાર છે. એ જ પ્રેમરૂપ દીપકનું તેવા છેસ્વાર્થ ખતમ થશે કે પછી કેણ કેને?
