अध्यात्मतत्वालोकः ૧૮ અહીં કલ્યાણભૂત કઈક વક્તવ્ય કહેવાને મારું મન ઉત્સાહિત થાય છે. સજજને ! જે અધ્યાત્મ ૫ત પર આરણ કરવા ચાહતા હે તે આ ઉપદેશ કરાતું જ્ઞાન એક મનથી સાંભળે !
18. Here I am eager to say something auspicious. Listen, O wide ones! to it with an attentivo mind, if you desire to reach the highest summit of Adhyatma,
पुण्यप्रभावान्महतो विशिष्ट सम्पद्यते मानुषजन्मयोगः । तत् सार्थकत्वं सुजना नयन्ति सज्ज्ञानतः स्वं चरितं विशोध्य ॥ १९ ॥
૧૯ મહાન પુણ્યપ્રભાવે વિશિષ્ટ મનુષ્યજન્મ પ્રાપ્ત થાય છે. સજજનો સમ્યગ જ્ઞાન દ્વારા પિતાના ચારિત્રનું શોધન કરી એ મહાત્ જન્મને સફળ બનાવે છે.
19. The good birth as a human being, is the result of the great influence of meritorions dseds. The wise turn their life to advantage by the purification of their own conduct with the help of right knowledge.
प्राप्तान्यनन्तानि वपूंष्यनेन जीवेन मोहावरणावृतेन । मोहस्य सत्त्वे खलु देहयोगो देहे च लब्धे पुनरेव दुःखम् ॥ २० ।।
૨૦ મહાવણથી આવૃત એવા આ જીવે અનન્ત શરીર ધારણ કર્યા છે. મોહની હયાતીમાં દેહને વેગ નિશ્ચિત જ છે, અને દેહના યોગે દુખ પણ એટલું જ નિશ્ચિત છે.
20. The phenomenal gcui being overpowered by ignorance ont infatuation, took innumerab'e birihx; infatuation certainly brings on the shackles of bodies, and bodies are in variably entwined with ailineats.
