बोर-विभूतिः ( 45 ) When He was twenty eight years of age, His parents left for the other world, Now, during the coronation ceremony, out of the two sons of Siddhartha, the question was whose head should the crown adorn,
पुत्रः पिता बान्धव-बान्धवौ च परस्पगेच्छेदपरौ भवेताम् । यदर्थग्राः समरा भवन्ति तत्रास्ति लक्ष्म्यां जगदन्धभूतम् । ॥ ४६॥
જેને માટે બાપ-બેટા અને ભાઈ- ભાઈ એક-બીજાનું ઉચછેદન કરવા તૈયાર થાય છે અને જેને માટે ભયંકર યુદ્ધો ખડાં થાય છે તે લક્ષમીની भन्६२ मत मांधणु मन्यु छ (४६)
( 46 ) The world gets blinded by wealth, for the sake of wbich the son fights with bis father, brothers are ready to destroy one another, and the most terrible wars take place.
परन्तु 'नन्दे'रधिकः प्रियोऽस्ति लक्ष्म्याः स्वकीयो लघुसोदरोऽसौ । निवेदयत्याग्रहपूर्वकं तं 'नन्दिपत्वासन आसनाय ॥४७॥
પણ “દ ( “નન્ડિવર્ધન”)ને લક્ષમી કરતાં પિતાને ના ભાઈ (વર્ધમાન) વધારે વહાલે છે. “ નવિર્ધન” વર્ધમાનને રાજગાદી પર सपा माअ५४ निवहन ४२ छ. (४७)
(47) But as Nandivardhana loved his younger brother more then the goddess of wealth, be most earnestly asked bis brother to occupy the royal throne.
धीरस्तदस्वीकृतिमादरेण कृत्वा स्वदीक्षाविषये तमाह । 'मम व्रताभिग्रह आर्य ! पूर्णस्ततोऽनुमन्यस्व तपाकृते माम् ॥४८॥
