कोर-विभूतिः
ईदृक्षसाम्योज्ज्वलभावनाया विकासनायै जनता - मनस्तु | अष्टसंकेतवशेन मन्ये महात्म - वीरस्य कनीपितृत्वम्

॥ २५ ॥
આવી સમાનતા'ની ઉજ્જવલ ભાવના જનતાના મનમાં ખિલવવા માટે, હું માનું છું કે, અષ્ટસ કેતવશાત્ મહાત્મા વીરને કન્યાના પિતા થવાનું सांपड्यु थे ! (२५)
(25) To my mind, it appears that, by a strange freak of nature, the high-souled Vira became the father of a daughter in order that an impartial sense of equality in respect of son and daughter might be cultivated amongst the people.
स्वभागिनेयेन 'जमालिना'मा वीरः समुद्राहयति स्वकन्याम् । रूढिप्रकारा भुवि भिन्न-भिन्ना । काले च काले परिवृत्तिभाजः ||२६||
મહાવીર પેાતાની કન્યા પેાતાના ભાણેજ જમાલિ’ સાથે પરણાવે છે. દુનિયામાં રૂઢિની રીતે ભિન્ન—ભિન્ન હેાય છે અને સમયે સમયે બદલાયા કરે છે.(૨૬)
(26) Vira gave His daughter in marriage to Jamali, His sister's son. Usages vary in different countries, and go on changing with the change of times.
सन्तो महान्तोऽऽवतरन्ति नैव भोगाय सांसारिकवैभवस्य । सहावतारेण तथाविधानां भवेन्महत् संकलितं रहस्यम्

॥ २७ ॥
મહાન્ સન્ત આત્માએ સંસાર–વિલાસ ભોગવવા માટે જન્મતા નથી. તેમના અવતરણ સાથે માટું રહસ્ય સંકળાયેલું હેાય છે. (૨૭)
(27) Great saints are never born for worldly enjoyments; there is always an underlying mystery in the birth of such great personages. १७
