પણ મહાન તેજસ્વી પ્રજ્ઞાધારક એવા વર્ધમાનને વિવાધ્યયન માટે પરિશ્રમ કરવાની જરૂર ન હોય, એવાઓ વસ્તુતઃ જમાતરના સમર્થ સંસ્કાર–બળથી અનધ્યયન-વિદ્વાન હોય છે. (૯).
(9) But, for acquiring knowledge no labour seems to have been necessary for Him who was the very personification of radiant intellect. People like Him become automatically enlighte. ned because of the conformations acquired in previous births,
युवत्व-काला स्मर-रङ्गभूमिर्न चापलं तन्मनसस्तदापि । तन्मानसं संयमयोगमुद्रं विशन्ति नो वैषयिका विचाराः ॥ १० ॥
યૌવનકાલ એ કામદેવની રંગભૂમિ છે. તે વખતે પણ તે કુમારનું મન ચપલ થતું નથી. એ તેજસ્વી યુવકના સંયમયેગથી મુદ્રિત માનસમાં વિષયના વિચારે પ્રવેશ પામતા નથી. (૧૦)
(10) Youth is said to be a stage for the god of love to play on. Even in youth His mind was calm. Thanks to His practice of restraint, nothing of the objective world could enter His mind.
न तादृशो राजकुमारकस्य दुरापता राजकुमारिकाणाम् । परं पुरस्तस्य विवाह-वार्तामुद्घाटयेत् कः प्रशमोज्ज्वलस्य ॥११॥
તેવા રાજકુમારને રાજકુમારીઓની શી ખોટ હોય! પણ પ્રશમભાવથી ઉજવલ એવા એ યુવકની આગળ વિવાહ કરવાની વાત કોણ મૂકે ? (૧૧)
