जीव-हितम्
उत्तिष्ठध्वमये ! धीराः ! निद्रामुत्सार्य सत्वरम् । अधोगतिमुखीं जाति समुद्धर्नु प्रयत्नतः ॥ २३ ॥
ઓ! ધીરે ! નિદ્રાને ઉડાવ! જદી ઊઠે! અને અધોગતિ તરફ ઘસડાતી જતી પ્રજાના ઉદ્ધાર માટે બલવા પ્રયત્નો સાથે બહાર આવે ! (૨૩)
(23) On firm-minded men, do get up, promptly driving away your sluggishness, to uplift, with all your efforts, the society sobich is drifting towards degradation.
प्रेरणा। ब्रह्मदंडं गृहीत्वोचैर्बहिरागच्छ ! कर्मणे । आन्दोलय ! प्रजा सुप्त-प्रमत्ता आत्मनादतः ॥ २४ ॥
ઓ ! વીર બ્રા-દંડને ઊંચે ઉઠાવીને બહાર આવ! કર્મક્ષેત્રમાં ઊતર ! અને સુપ-પ્રમત્ત પ્રજામાં તારા અન્તર્નાદથી આન્દોલન મચાવ ! (૨૪)
Inspiration
(24) Having lifted high the banner of Brahmacharya, come out for work, and move the people sleeping and slothful, by your roaring emanating from the soul.
लोकप्रसादनं सत्य-भाषणं च विरोधिनी । आहुत्यापि यशोवादं सत्यं सर्वत्र घोषय ॥२५॥
લોકોને ખુશ રાખવા અને સાચું કહેવું એ બે નહિ બને. તારી યશકીતિના ભેગે પણ બધે સત્યની ઘોષણા કર ! (૨૫)
(25) To please the people and to speak the truth are mutually antagonistic. Proclaim the truth everywhere even at the sacrifice of your renown. १२
