मुमुक्षवोऽपि विद्वांसः साम्प्रदायिकदुर्ग्रहात् । क्लिष्टचेतःपरीणामीसन्तो गच्छन्ति कापथम्
॥३॥
મુમુક્ષુ વિદ્વાને પણ સામ્પ્રદાયિક દુરાગ્રહમાં પડી જઈ પોતાની મનોવૃત્તિને કષાય-કલુષિત બનાવે છે, અને પરિણામે ઊંધે રસ્તે ચડી જાય છે. (૩)
(3) Eren euch learned men who aspire to Emancipation or Salvation, blacken their wentality by reason of evil sectarian obstinaoy and consequently go astray.
तमपास्य सदालोकरोधि-कालुष्यकारिणम् । जिज्ञासु-शान्त-मध्यस्थवृत्तिना भाव्यमात्मना ॥४॥
સામ્પ્રદાયિક દુરાગ્રહ સત્યના પ્રકાશને આવનાર છે તેમ જ મનવૃત્તિને કલુષિત બનાવનાર છે. તેને દૂર કરી જિજ્ઞાસુ, શાન્ત અને મધ્યસ્થ વૃત્તિના બનવું જોઈએ. (૪)
(4) One should be desirous of kuowledge (of truth), tranquil as well as impartial (free from evil obstinacy), baving kept off bigo try which obstructs true Light and brings on passionate blackness.
तत्त्वं धर्मस्य सुस्पष्टं मैत्रीभावविकासनम् । परोपकारनिर्माण तथा संयम-साधनम्
ધર્મનું તત્વ તે ખુલ્લું છે, અને તે મૈત્રીભાવનું વિકાસન, પરોપકારી વન અને સંચમ-સાધના. (૫)
(5) It is very easy to know what Dharma in its real nature is. It is developing all-pervadivg love, doing acts beneficial to others and cultivating the virtue of self-control,
