जीवनातम्
दृष्टिमेदाद प्रमादाद् वा न यो धक्रिया चरेत् । मनुष्यसंगतां मैत्रीमनईन् न स तावता ॥११॥
ો ઈહિથી યા પ્રમાદથી ધર્મનું અથવા સામ્પ્રદાયિક વિધિનુ' આયર, કતા ન હોય તેઓ એ કારણે મનુષ્યસુલભ ત્રીને અગ્ય કરતા નથી, અથૉત, મનુષ્યોએ એક-બીજા સાથે જે મનુષ્યોચિત શિષ્ટાચરણ રાખવાનું છે તેને માટે તેઓ અપાત્ર બનતા નથી. (૧૧)
(11) Those who abstain from performing religious rites on account of their different or reverse point of view or sluggishness, do not, for that reason, become undeserving of human sympathy.
यः करोति यथा नाम स तथा प्रतिपत्स्यते । न मनुष्यो मनुष्येण त्यजेन्मानुपविष्टताम्
॥ १२ ॥
જે જેવું કરશે તેવું તે પામશે, પરંતુ માણસે માણસ સાથેની પિતાની મનુષ્યશિષ્ટતા માણસાઈ] ન છોડવી જોઈએ. (૧૨)
(12) As he will 80w, so will he reap. So one should rot abandon the polite course of human courtesy to others.
मनोभेदं विदध्मश्वेजात्यन्तर-मतान्तरः । न कुत्रापि भवेदैक्यं द्वयोरपि मनुष्ययोः
॥१३ ।।
આપણે જે બીજા સાથે તેને જાતિભેદ ય મતભેદને કારણે મને ભેદ કરીએ તે કયાંય પણ, બે માણસમાં પણ, બે સગા ભાઈઓ કે મિત્રોમાં પણ એક્ય નહિ થઈ શકે. (૧૩)
(13) If we aagume hostile attitude towards others owing to their being different in caste or religion (or thoughts ), then nowhere will be found unity-not even between any two men,
