महात्म-विभूतिः જીવનની દિશા બે બાહ્ય અને આન્તર. એ બન્નેની ઉન્નતિને સારુ જ્ઞાનની मावश्यता छे. (८३)
(83) There are two sides of life (1) external and (ii) internal. Knowledge is necessary for the elevation of boib.
व्यवहारपथोत्कर्षे ज्ञानं स्याद् व्यावहारिकम् । आध्यात्मिकविकासाय ज्ञानमाध्यात्मिकं तथा ॥ ८४ ॥
વ્યાવહારિક ઉન્નતિ માટે વ્યાવહારિક જ્ઞાનની જરૂર અને આધ્યાત્મિક विलास भाटे आध्यात्मिशाननी ४३२. ( ८४ )
(84) Material knowledge is necessary for external or worldly progress and spiritual knowledge is necessary for internal or spiritual advancement.
युक्तं जीवनयात्रायै शिक्षणं व्यावहारिकम् । येन जीवन-संग्रामे भवेत् सफल- कौशलः
જીવનયાત્રા માટે વ્યાવહારિક શિક્ષણની જરૂર છે, જેથી જીવનસંગ્રામમાં માણસ સફલ કુશલ બની શકે. (૮૫)
... (85) Education relating to worldly matter is necessary for the maintenance and progress of liie, so that one may be competent and successful in the struggle for existence,
शारीरी मानसी शक्तिः शक्तिराध्यात्मिकी तथा। विकसेद् येन तादृक्षो योक्तव्या शिक्षणक्रमः ॥ ८६ ।।
