Sheela
Sheela: the word means a person with character, love, beauty, and cool. True to her name, always smiling during this intense training of four years.
Born like a gift of love from God, she came to our lives after a sad timeWe had lost our son Anand. Thanks to Sheela, we now have two, Anand and Umed.
Anand means happiness and Umed means hope. With them and Sheela's cool nature, you can imagine the life of love, devotion, and peace. We live together, as one big family.
We moved from rural Connecticut to the city of Boston. Left the house we lived in for 20 years and the town we called our own for 30. Left friends and came to Boston, so Sheela could become a fine Lady Doctor.
Our two boys Vivek and Chintan and daughter-in-law Tania have made several trips to Boston to be with us, and have given us a support that we will cherish for years to come.
Today we reflect on this unforgettable journey of four years. Throughout their training, Sheela and Duncan rode bikes to work in all weathers--in sun, shade, rain, snow, or even ice.
