The sections 4:49-51 and 53 are short and can be removed without any loss of context. The interpretation of the result in sections 5:42-44 is flawed; therefore, their elimination is indeed necessary, as thoroughly discussed by Pujya Sukhlalji. Regarding the omission of section 9.38, the Digambara commentators of Tattvārtha Sūtra have their own opinion. Thus, the Śvetāmbara text has been substantially incorporated into the Digambara text. However, this does not mean that the Śvetāmbara text is the original and that the Digambara text has refined it, as a later version can alternatively distort rather than refine the earlier one.
2. The omissions in the Śvetāmbara text include: 1.4: (42) Among the eight types of worldly beings, 6: (21) and right perception, 2.2: (48) also having that body, and having attained realization; 2.2: (52) The rest are the three Vedas; 7: (4-8) [Descriptions of feelings are in the commentary on Sutra 3, although there are slight differences in both texts]; 8: (26) Therefore, any other sin; 10: (7) Brought by the potter, the wheel, the absence of essence, like the lead, like the seeds of castor, like the flames; [10:7 in the summary aphorisms 10-12 and 14 is not found, but in commentary 6, the expression of the second and fourth causes of the soul's ascent is somewhat confusing.]; 10: (8) Due to the non-existence of dharmastikayas; [6 commentary and summary aphorism 22 - due to the non-existence of dharmastikayas].
3. 3: (12-32) [Description of Jambudvīpa. The Digambara text (24) has a range of 25-30 yojanas of expansion, 26 parts of six and twenty yojanas, and (25) has a twofold and twofold expansion of a year of rainfall.
