पसंतो रसो जहा
सब्भावनिविकारं उवसंत-पसंत-सोमदिट्ठीयं।
ही ! जह मुणिणो सोहति मुहकमलं पीवरसिरीयं ॥८१॥ प्रशान्त रस का उदाहरण-स्वभाव से विकार रहित, प्रशान्त, सौम्य दृष्टि युक्त और पुष्ट कान्ति वाला मुनि का मुख कमल की तरह अतीव सुशोभित हो रहा है।।८१॥ 9. PRASHANT-RASA
262. (10) The Prashant-rasa (sentiment of serenity) is the consequence of the samadhi (profound meditation) of an unblemished mind and absolute serenity. It is characterized by absence of perversion. (80)
The example of Prashant-rasa (sentiment of serenity) is
The radiant face of the sage with pacifying eyes, whose mind is tranquil and free of any aberrations, looks resplendent like a blooming lotus. (81) (११) एए नव कव्वरसा बत्तीसादोसविहिसमुप्पण्णा।
गाहाहिं मुणेयव्वा हवंति सुद्धा व मीसा वा।।८२॥ से तं नवनामे।
२६२. (११) ये नव काव्यरस अलीक (असत्य), निरर्थक आदि बत्तीस दोष विधियों से उत्पन्न होते हैं, इन्हें उपर्युक्त गाथाओं से जानना चाहिए। ये रस किसी काव्य में कहीं शुद्ध (अमिश्रित) भी होते हैं और किसी में मिश्रित (अनेक रसों के मिश्रण से) भी होते हैं।।८२॥
नवनाम का निरूपण पूर्ण हुआ।
262. (11) These nine sentiments of poetry, which have their origin in thirty two kinds of faults (including falsity and the senseless) are to be known through the aforesaid verses. In some poem they are found to be pure (one single sentiment) and in others mixed (a mixture of more than one sentiment) as well. (82)
