होकर एवं तदर्पित करणों - शरीरादि को उसमें नियोजित कर, उसकी भावना से भावित होकर, अन्यत्र कहीं भी मन को डोलायमान किये बिना उभयकाल ( प्रातः - संध्या समय) आवश्यक प्रतिक्रमणादि करते हैं, वह लोकोत्तरिक भाव आवश्यक है।
(3) LOKOTTARIK BHAAVA AVASHYAK
28. (Question) What is Lokottarik bhaava avashyak (spiritual perfect avashyak)?
(Answer) There are shramans (male ascetics), shramanis (female ascetics), shravaks (Jain laymen) and shravikas (Jain lay-women) who perform the avashyak (obligatory duties) including pratikraman (critical review of thoughts and deeds of the past) every morning and evening with full attention and concentration, pious attitude (leshya being the colour-code indicator of purity of soul) and perseverance, with assiduous intent to follow proper procedure, with intense enthusiasm, with sincere involvement in the meaning of avashyak, employing all the required equipment including the body, inspired by its essence and without diverting their mind anywhere else. This is called Lokottarik bhaava avashyak (spiritual perfect avashyak).
आवश्यक के पर्यायवाची नाम
२९. तस्स णं इमे एगट्टिया णाणाघोसा णाणावंजणा णामधेजा भवंति । तं जहा(१) आवस्सयं ( २ ) अवस्सकरणिजं (३) धुवणिग्गहो ( ४ ) विसोही य ।
(५) अज्झयणछक्कवग्गो (६) नाओ ( ७ ) आराहणा ( ८ )
मग्गो ॥ २ ॥
अंतो अहो निसिस्स उ तम्हा आवस्सयं नाम ॥ ३ ॥
सेतं आवस्यं ।
(२९) उस आवश्यक के नाना घोष और अनेक व्यंजन वाले एकार्थक अनेक नाम इस प्रकार हैं
(१) आवश्यक, (२) अवश्यकरणीय, (३) ध्रुव निग्रह, (४) विशोधि, (५) अध्ययन-षट्कवर्ग, (६) न्याय, (७) आराधना, और (८) मार्ग ।
