ज्ञाताधर्मकथांग सूत्र हा ___ सूत्र २४ : कुछ समय पश्चात् वहाँ भी मधुर कल्पना, सुख आदि (सू. २३) के अभाव में घूमते डा र घूमते वे उत्तर दिशा के वनखण्ड में चले गये और पूर्ववत् विचरने लगे (सू. १८)। 5 24. After some time, there also, they felt the absence of pleasant feelings, 5 etc. (as in para 23), proceeded to the northern garden, and started roaming S 2 around (as detailed in para 18).
सूत्र २५ : तए णं ते मागंदियदारया तत्थ वि सई वा जाव अलभमाणा जेणेव पच्चत्थमिल्ल दे रवणसंडे तेणेव उवागच्छंति, उवागच्छित्ता जाव विहरंति। 5 सूत्र २५ : उत्तर दिशा के वनखण्ड में भी मन न लगने पर वे पश्चिम दिशा के वनखण्ड में से 5 गये और पूर्ववत विचरने लगे (सू. १८)। B 25. अण्णमण्णस्स एयमढे पडिसुणेति, पडिसुणित्ता जेणेव दक्खिणिल्ले वणसंडे तेणेव पहारेत्थ टा गमणाए।
सूत्र २६ : माकन्दी पुत्रों को जब वहाँ भी शान्ति नहीं मिली तो उन्होंने परस्पर विचार किया-दा र “हे देवानुप्रिय ! रत्नद्वीप देवी ने हमसे यह कहा कि वह शक्रेन्द्र के निर्देशानुसार सुस्थित देव के डी र आदेश से कार्यवश जा रही है तथा हमें दक्षिण दिशा के वनखण्ड में नहीं जाना चाहिए अन्यथा ट 15 हमारे शरीर का नाश हो जायेगा (विस्तार सू. १७-२१ के समान)। तो इसका कोई कारण होना ?
चाहिए। इसलिए हमें दक्षिण दिशा के वनखण्ड में भी जाना चाहिए।" इस बात पर सहमत हो दोनों । र दक्षिण दिशा की ओर चल दिए।
26. When the sons of Makandi could not get the desired mental satisfaction in the western garden also they again deliberated, “Beloved of > gods! The evil goddess of Ratnadveep has informed us that she is going on an 91
assignment entrusted to her by god Susthit, the lord of seas, on the direction, of Shakrendra. She has prohibited us to go to the southern garden due to the fear of our destruction (details as in para 17-21). There must be some
purpose behind this and as such, we should go to the southern garden and 15 find out” Agreeing on this they both proceeded in the direction of the 15 southern garden. 15 (22)
