र कौन विश्वास करेगा कि तेतलिपुत्र ने नीली तलवार से अपने पर प्रहार किया पर उसकी धार 15 कुंठित हो गई? र कौन विश्वास करेगा कि तेतलिपुत्र ने गले में फाँसी लगाई पर रस्सी टूट गई? र कौन विश्वास करेगा कि तेतलिपुत्र शिला बाँधकर अथाह जल में कूदा पर वह जल छिछला हो । र गया?
र कौन विश्वास करेग कि तेतलिपुत्र आग में कूदा पर वह बुझ गई ? 15 ऐसी हताश मनोदशा में हथेली पर ठोडि टिकाए तेतलिपुत्र आर्तध्यान में डूब गया। 12 43. Tetaliputra thought, “What the Shramans utter is authentic, what the

Who will believe that Tetaliputra hit himself with the blue sword but it 5 became blunt? 5 Who will believe that Tetaliputra tried to hang himself but the rope broke र apart? 5 Who will believe that Tetaliputra tied a rock and jumped in deep waters S > and the waters became shallow? B Who will believe that Tetaliputra jumped in fire and the fire was a 15 extinguished?
In this depressed condition Tetaliputra rested his chin on his palms and started brooding. र (138)
