________________ PORT WHILE MOVING ABOUT.... 258. When a bhikshu or bhikshuni goes to the house of a laymen he should enter the house with his pots. In the same way he should always carry his pots with him while going away from habitation for studies or nature's call or going from one village to another. If there is a wide spread rain and other such conditions the rules mentioned in the Vastriashana chapter should be followed. The only difference being that there carrying all his clothes is censured and here carrying all his pots is censured. This is the totality of conduct (including that related to knowledge) for that bhikshu or bhikshuni.
