he/she should consider them to be contaminated and unacceptable and reject even if offered. ____A bhikshu (male ascetic) or bhikshuni (female ascetic) who has entered a house of a layman, when finds about such aushadhis (seed-grains) that those grains are not whole, have lost capacity to germinate, have been broken into two or more pieces, have been laterally pierced, are not alive, the fresh beans have become lifeless, broken and processed in fire; he/she should accept them considering them to be uncontaminated and acceptable.
३. से भिक्खू वा २ जाव समाणे से जं पुण जाणिज्जा-पिहुयं वा बहुरजं वा भुज्जियं वा मंथु वा चाउलं वा चाउलपलंबं वा सई भज्जियं अफासुयं जाव णो पडिगाहेज्जा।
से भिक्खू वा २ जाव समाणे से जं पुण जाणेज्जा-पिहुयं वा जाव चाउलपलंबं वा असई भज्जियं दुक्खुत्तो वा भज्जियं तिक्खुत्तो वा भज्जियं फासुयं एसणिज्जं लाभे संते जाव पडिगाहेज्जा।
३. गृहस्थ के घर गया हुआ भिक्षु या भिक्षुणी यदि यह जाने कि शाली-(धान), जौ, गेहूँ आदि में सचित्त रज (तुष आदि) बहुत हैं, गेहूँ आदि अग्नि में अच्छी प्रकार भुंजे हुए
नहीं हैं। गेहूँ आदि के आटे में तथा धान-कुटे चूर्ण में भी अखण्ड दाने हैं, कणों सहित * चावल के लम्बे दाने केवल एक बार भुने हुए हैं या कुटे हुए हैं, तो उन्हें अप्रासुक और
अनेषणीय मानकर ग्रहण न करे। ____ अगर वह भिक्षु या भिक्षुणी यह जाने कि शाली-(धान), जौ, गेहूँ आदि (आग में भुंजे हुए गेहूँ आदि तथा गेहूँ आदि का आटा, कुटा हुआ धान) अखण्ड दानों से रहित है, कण
सहित चावल के लम्बे दाने, ये सब एक बार, दो या तीन बार आग में भुने हुए हैं या कुटे है हुए हैं तो उन्हें प्रासुक और एषणीय जानकर प्राप्त होने पर ग्रहण कर ले।
