कर सकता है। इसीलिए तीर्थंकरों ने पहले से ही भिक्षुओं के लिए ऐसा नियम आदि बताया है कि साधु ऐसे गृहस्थ परिवार वाले स्थान में ठहरे नहीं तथा कायोत्सर्गादि क्रियाएँ भी न करे।
90. Living in the same house with householder families is a source of faults for an ascetic. This is because there are chances of such ascetic being filled with feelings of attachment and aversion for reasons such as—the ascetic may chance to look at a well dressed young woman embellished with beads, pearls, silver and gold ornaments like earrings, belt, bracelets, armlets, three string necklace, flower garland, eighteen string necklace, nine string necklace, single string necklace, pearl necklace, gold necklace or gem necklace. This may cause disturbing thoughts that I also had such ornaments in my house or my wife or daughter also looked like this or not. He may also silently appreciate or desire for these or express his thoughts aloud. Therefore Tirthankars have framed this code for ascetics that
they should neither stay nor do their ascetic activities including 1. meditation in inhabited houses.
__९१. आयाणमेयं भिक्खुस्स गाहावइहिं सद्धिं संवसमाणस्स। इह खलु गाहावइणीओ
वा गाहावइधूयाओ वा गाहावइसुण्हाओ वा गाहावइधाइओ वा गाहावइदासीओ वा * गाहावइकम्मकरीओ वा, तासिं च णं एवं वुत्तपुव्वं भवइ-जे इमे भवंति समणा भगवंतो।
जाव उवरया मेहुणाओ धम्माओ णो खलु एएसिं कप्पइ मेहुणधम्मपरियारणाए
आउट्टित्तए, जा य खलु एएहिं सद्धिं मेहुणधम्मपरियारणाए आउट्टीविज्जा पुत्तं खलु सा ॐ ओलभिज्जा ओयंसि तेयंसि वच्चंस्सि जसंस्सि संपरायियं आलोयदरिसणिज्ज।
__एयप्पगारं णिग्घोसं सोच्चा णिसम्म तासिं च णं अण्णयरी सड्ढी तं तवस्सिं भिक्खुं मेहुणधम्मपरियारणाए आउट्टविज्जा। अह भिक्खूणं पुब्योवइट्ठा ४ जं तहप्पगारे सागारिए उवस्सए णो ठाणं वा ३ चेइज्जा। ___ एयं खलु तस्स भिक्खुस्स वा भिक्षुणीए वा सामग्गियं।
