________________ Prakrit Verses in Sanskrit Works on Poetics 507 99) Rehai...... (p. 266) This prati ka“ rehai” indicates the following verse : रेहइ मिहिरेण णहं रसेण कव्वं सरेण जोव्वणअं। अमएण धुणीधवओ तुमए णरणाह भुवणमिणं ॥ (राजते मिहिरेण नभो रसेन काव्यं स्मरेण यौवनकम् । अमृतेन धुनीधवकः त्वया नरनाथ भुवनमिदम् ॥) This verse is first cited by Tilaka in his Vivrti (p. 12) and by Ruyyaka in his Alamkarasarvasva (p. 92) to illustrate the figure Dipaka. This identification is supported by the fact that the Kalpalatā viveka mentions it as an example of the figure Dipaka and by the significant gloss that follows this pratika : अत्र त्वया भुवनमिदम् इति प्राकरणिकम् । 100) Aviyāriya...na bhanissam...... (p. 269) These words form part of the second half of the gātha "e ehi kimpi”, first cited in Kavyaprakāśa (X. v. 471, p. 655). This gātha agrees in its spirit and content with GS (VII. 2). 101) Volesu...... (p. 270) This word occurs in the second half of the gathā opening with “Suhaa vilambasu thoam", etc., cited earlier (on p. 115) in the context of āksepa alamkāra. 102) Balaya nāham...... (p. 270) This gāthā is cited earlier (on p. 115) in the context of aksepa alamkāra. 103) Pattiya...... (p. 270) This word most probably represents a variant reading for ettia', which occurs in the second half of the verse " Kim jampiena dahamuha", etc., is first cited in SK (IV. v. 151, p. 496). 104) Hantum...... (p. 270) This verse (Setu IV. 36) is first cited in SK (IV. v. 152, p. 496). It is to be noted that the gloss. Je iti pādapürane nipatah' has reference to je' occurring in the second half of this verse.
