Prakrit verses in Kalpalataviveka
The Kalpalatāviveka (KLV) is a valuable work on Sanskrit Poetics, although it is of the nature of super-commentary-an Addendum to the Pallava commentary on the Kalpalatā. Unfortunately, these two works still remain to be discovered-propably they are irretrievably lost. The importance of KLV lies in various directions. Here we are, however, concerned with its wealth of Prakrit citations and its invaluable help in correcting a few highly corrupt Prakrit passages in earlier works on Alamkara like Dhvanyaloka-Locana, Abhinavabhārati on Națyaśāstra, Vakroktijivita (V), Sarasvatikanthabharano (SK) and Srrigaraprakāśa.
The KLV cites about 45 Prakrit verses in full and contains pratikas of round about 70 Prakrit verses. With a view to saving space the attention of readers is drawn to the sources from where the KLV has adopted these Prakrit verses (at second hand). Only such verses as have not been cited in earlier works on poetics are given in full in the present study :

जिणधम्मो मोक्खफलो सासय-सोक्खो जिणेहि पन्नत्तो। नर-सुर-सुहाई अणुसंगियाइं इह किसि-पलालं व॥

2) Iya navara (?Aha navaral navaram).....
(p. 16) “ Aha navara”, (Sk esa kevalam), form the opening words of the second half of the gatha: "Jam pari-hariun tirai", which is first cited in Kavyaprakasa (VII v. 216, p. 336) and which is, according to Manikyacandra's Samketa commentary on Kavyaprakas,a drawn from Anandavardhana's Pañcabāna ( = Visamabāna)-lila. Weber includes it in in his edition (S. No. 979).
