Now, on the face of it, this passage, although printed as a metrical one, is in prose and all efforts to search for it in Prakrit poetic works would be in vain. From the context it is to be identified with the following passage from Malati-Madhava (Act VII. 1.2 pp 91-92; edn by Devdhar and Suru ) :
मदयन्तिका :-(सहि किं पुणो वि)पणअभंगेण कदावराहो असं जणो। जेण एवं मंतेसि ।
पिअसहि तुम लवंगिआ अ संपदं मे हिअअं। ( (सखि किं पुनरपि) प्रणयभङ्गेन कृतापराधोऽयं जनः । येन एवं मन्त्रयसे । प्रियसखि त्वं लवङ्गिका च सांप्रतं मे हृदयम् ।)

कत्तो संदेसमुहं कत्तो सरसाइ मोहण-सुहाइ। चितामणि व्व लोअम्मि सा हु दूई जइ ण होइ ॥ (कुतः संदेश-सुखं कुतः सरसानि मोहन-सुखानि । चिन्तामणिरिव लोके सा खलु दूती यदिन भवति ॥)

This line forms the second half of a gathā; it is to be identified with the second half of the gåtha Jajāiritia (?) etc., cited on p. 952.
संगमसुहा समभहिअ-मणहरा होंति संदेसा॥ (सङ्गम-सुखात् समभ्यधिक-मनोहरा भवन्ति संदेशाः॥)
