Samavāyāngasūtra
or breathe forth or exhale or inhale [once) in every nine fortnights. These gods feel hunger after nine thousand years. 9[5] संतेगतिया भवसिद्धिया जीवा जे नवहिं भवग्गहणेहिं सिज्झिस्संति जाव सव्वदुक्खाण30मंतं करेस्संति॥
Among the fit to be liberated souls some will liberate up to will annihilate the entire miseries by taking the ninth re-birth.

Notes 1. Samavāyāngasūtra as well as Sthānāngasūtra' mention nine constellations as making conjuct with the moon but Süryaprajñapti?and Jambūdvīpaprajñapti mention twelve ones as making conjuct with the moon. According to Ach. Mahāprajña“, it indicated existence of another tradition in this regard. 2. Bhauma according to Abhaydevasűri is interpreted as city by some Ācāryas while as a particular place by some.
