Such is Víra Jinendra, the lord, eulogised by the heavenly gods and godesses and caturvidhasamgha and worshipped by the three lords of Urdhvaloka, Tiryakloka and Adhahloka (respectively)" wïth joy. (O Lord) ! show (order) the destruction of all poverty, diseases and old age (all these).
Scientific interpretation of the Verscs.
: Gă = abhrakam = mica, hā = haritāla = orpiment Jualena' = tāramucyate = silver is meant by jualena, Jinam = pāradam = mercury which is free from dirt, fire and poison. Maya - mohavivajjiam, 'jia Kasāyam'=devoid of three impurities - dirt, or dregs (mala), fire (síkhi) and poison. (Visam). I fix it by the process of burning (heating) it with the combination of three - white mica, orpiment and silver (Kamtara).
Another interpretation :
Then with the combination of the process of medicine I shall speak or (analyse) the process of svedan? - jārana of Medicines).
Svedanam :- Medicine is to be cooked in a Dolayantra, (a kind of apparatus) with Kānjikā of urine of cow, buffalo, goat, men ar Jāraña :- It is to be accomplished by making bida (Bițalūņa) powder of equal portions of each of the medicines like gorocanā (golestone orbinimer a scented article named gorocanā), alum, Sal-ammoniac, sulphur, orpiment, syada,' borax (saubhāgya) (and silver) are to be cast into the bile of goat and the whole thing is to be placed on the furnace for a month.
Thus having made bida (bitakhāra), it should be pat into a crucible (or mouth?). Then by making a leaf of black mica, it is to be cast into Yavāranala (fire lit by the straw of barley) for 8 prahars; it is to be melted with Sahavastra with phogakandalas or durvājālas (kinds of Vanaspațis). It comes (gets) flowing and is free from Shā (dhātu = element).
Jiyakasāyam' :- The impurity of fire in mercury is purified by triphalāmalaki (phyllantus emblica), (Terminalia Chebula) haritaki and Vaheďā (Teminalia pelerica).
1. 'Kathambhutam (how ?)- (Jinam tam - nisamgam,) Jinam - pāradam(mercury) tam hi samgam; - mộtasaptaguna - Vamgottirnań-killed impurities free from artificial defects, alloys - tin and lead (vangottrirnam) by means of distilation. Upto this time only the process of making silver has been demonstrated. (1) Not identifid.
