The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Chauvīsī bronze image of Shāntināth with Parikar is preserved in Rșabhadeva Temple in Jahapanah'S pole of Doshi Vada's pole. It was made by Mahirāja along with his wife Rānī, brother Rānā and sister-in-law Hīrās for the bliss of their father Man. Samarā and mother Vanū of Srīmāla caste, with the precept of his teacher in V.S. 1504, Vaishākha, su.di. 3, Sani (i.e. Sat., 6 April, 1448 A.D.). ॥ संवत् १५०४ वर्षे वैशाष सुदि ३ शनौ श्री श्रीमाल ज्ञातीय मं. समरा भार्या वानू तयोः सुताभ्यां महिराज भार्या राणी राणा भार्या हीराई सहिताभ्यां पित्रो: श्रेयोर्थं श्री शांतिनाथबिंब कारितं श्री सगुरुपदेशेन प्रतिष्टि[ष्ठि]तं विधिना शुभं ॥

This Pañchatīrthĩ bronze image of Sumatināth with Parikar is preserved in Neminātha Temple in Pada Pole, near model cinema, Khadia. It was made by San. Ratan, son of San. Sahasā and Sītāde of Ukeśa Vamsa and Laghu Sākhā, for the spiritual bliss of Sā. Māņika. This Bimba was installed by śrī Jinasāgarasuri of Kharatara gaccha in V.S. 1504, Vaishakha, vadi. 4, (i.e. Fri., 26 April, 1448 A.D.).
