The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Pañchatīrthi bronze image of Adinātha with parikar is preserved in Shītalanātha Temple in Panjara pole on the Relief Road. It was installed by Devagu ptasūri of Upakeśa gaccha in the tradition of Kaku dācārya in V.S. 1560, Kärttika, su.di. 15, Sukra (i.e. Fri., 3, Nov.,1503 A.D.) This Bimba was made by Harpal and Hemai of Upakeśa caste for the bliss of their parents. The donor was inhabitant of Mālīyā. ।। संवत् १५६० वर्षे कार्तिक सुदि १५ शुक्रे उपकेश ज्ञातौ श्रेष्ठि गोत्रे मा. रतनसुत आसा भा. सघई पुत्र मा. हरपाल भा. हेमई पित्रो : श्रेयसे श्री आदिनाथबिंब कारित श्री उपकेशगच्छे ककुदाचार्यसंताने श्री देवगुप्तसूरिभि: श्री मालीया स्थाने ॥

This Pañchatīrthì bronze image of Kunthunātha with parikar is preserved in Sambhavanātha Temple in Kalushah's Pole Kalu pur. It was made by Sā. Sīhāka along with his wives Sūhavade and Singårade and son Sonā for their own spiritual bliss. Sāha Sīm, Jīvā, Jīhā, Namā Āsā and Rupā were the sons of Sāha Uyà and Poi of Uchtavāla gotra and Ukeśa caste. This icon was installed by Bhattāraka Sri Viracandrasuri of Uchitavāla gaccha in V.S. 1560, Vaisakha su.di 3, Bhaumavara (i.e. Tuesday, 16 April, 1504 A.D.) संवत् १५६० वर्षे वैशाष सुदि ३ भूमवारे उकेसवंश ज्ञातीय उछतवाल गोत्रे साह उया भा. पोई पुत्र साह सीहा जीवा जीहा नमा अषा रुपा ॥ सा. सींहाकेन भा. सूहवदे सिंगारदे पु. सोना सहिते. आत्मश्रेयसे श्री कुंथुनाथबिंब कारितं श्री उछतवालगच्छे श्री श्री वीरचंद्रसूरि प्रतिष्टि[ष्ठि]तं ॥
