The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Chauvisi bronze image of Pārshvanātha with parikar is preserved in Adīshvara Temple in Kasumbavad. It was made by Padmāka, son of Salaşā and Ratnū with his brother Bakū, his son Goīyā, his wife Ramās etc. family members, for the bliss of his own self. The donor was the inhabitant of Gandhāra. This icon was installed by ŚrīJinacandrasuri of Agama gaccha in V.S. 1544, Caitra, va.di. 1, Sukra (i.e. Friday, 28 March, 1488 A.D.).
॥ संवत् १५४४ वर्षे चैत्र वदि १ शुक्रे गूजर ज्ञा । मा. सांगा सु । धींधा सु । मुलासी सु । जेसिंह सु । सलषा भा । रत्नू सु । पद्माकेन भ्रातृ । बकू सु. गोईया भा ।रमाई स्वकुटुंबयुतेन आत्मश्रेयसे श्री पार्श्वनाथ चतुर्विंशतिपट्ट का. प्र. ।अ[आ]गम गच्छे श्री जिनचंद्रसूरि प्रतिष्टि[ष्ठि]तं ॥ गंधार वास्तव्य ॥

This Pañchatīrihi bronze image of Ajitanātha with parikar is preserved in the shrine of Ajitanātha in Panchhia Pole. It was installed by Dhaarmmaratnasuri of Vrddha Tapa Paksa in 1544, Vaisakha, Su.di. 6, Guru. (i.e. Thurs., 26 April, 1487 A.D.). This Bimba was made by Harapauka (son of Sam. Nākar and Mahi of Humbada caste) along with his wife Ratnāde and son Ganapati as well as his family for his own bliss. He was the resident of Gandhāra Mandir. ॥ सं. १५४४ वर्षे वैशाख शुदि ६ गुरौ श्री गंधार मंदिर वास्तव्य श्री हुंबड ज्ञातीय सं. नाकर भा. मही सुत सं. हरपतिकेन भा. रत्नदे सुत गणपति प्रमुख स्वकुटुंबयुतेने स्वश्रेयोर्थं श्री अजितनाथबिंब कारितं प्रतिष्ठतं श्री वृद्धतपापक्षे श्री धर्मरत्नसूरिभिः [?] शुभं भवतुं ॥
