The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Pañchatīrihi bronze image of Vimalanātha with parikar is. preserved in Sambhavanāth Temple in Lunasavada Moti Pole, Delhi Chakala. It was made by Sri Vanāka, with his wife Vanāde and son Sivadāsa, for the bliss of his brother Lāsā. Vanāka was the son of Sre. Padmā and Prīmalade of the Srimāla caste. They were the inhabitants of Ahimadāvāda (Ahmadabad). This icon was installed by Sri Virasuri in V.S. 1520, Vaisakha, su.di. 12, Budha (i.e. Wed. 18 April, 1464 A.D.).
॥ सं. १५२० वर्षे वैशाष सु. १२ बुधे श्री श्रीमाल ज्ञातीय श्रे. पद्मा भा. प्रीमलदे सुत श्रे. वनाकेन भा. वनादेसुत शिवदास सहितेन भ्रातृ लषाश्रेयसे श्री विमलनाथबिंब कारापितं प्रतिष्टि[ष्ठि]तं ब्राह्माणगच्छे श्री वीरसूरिभिः अहिमदावादवास्तव्यः ।

This Pañchatīrthi bronze image of Shītalanātha with parikar is preserved in Nemināth Temple in Manasukhbhai Sheth's Pole, Doshivada's Pole, It was made by San: Campāka along with his wife Naī, sons Aka and Gogada for the bliss of his father and mother. Cāṁpāka was the son of San. Bhīma and Jaditade. Lāṁpā, Sānpā, Sudhā, Hānsā and Hanā were his brothers. They belonged to Srīmāla caste. This Bimba was installed by Sri Anandaprabhasūri of Agama gaccha in V.S. 1520, Vaišākha, va.di., 7, Sanivāra (i.e. Saturday, 28 April, 1464 A.D.). The Donor was the inhabitant of Banjāņā.
॥ संवत् १५२० वर्षे वैशाष वदि ७ शनौ श्रीमाल ज्ञातीय सं. भीमा भा. जडितदे सुत सं. चांपालापा सांपा सुधा हांसाहना सं. चांपाकेन नाई भा. सुत आकेन गोगदयुतेन स्वपितृ मातृ श्रेयोर्थं श्री शीतलनाथबिंबं का. प्र. आगमगच्छे श्री श्री आणंदप्रभसूरिभि बंजाणा वास्तव्यः ।।
