२. पंचिंदिय सूत्र
गुणों वाले मेरे गुरु हैं.
विशेषार्थ :
| इन्द्रिय = संसारी जीव को पहचानने का चिह्न / संसारी जीव द्वारा पौद्गलिक भावों को आंशिक रूप से जानने का साधन. पाँच इन्द्रियों के तेईस विषय :
१. स्पर्शेन्द्रिय [त्वचा ] के आठ विषय- स्पर्श द्वारा हलकापन, भारीपन, कोमलता, कठोरता, शीतलता, ऊष्णता, चिकनाहट और रूखेपन को जानना.
२. रसनेन्द्रिय [जीभ ] के पाँच विषय- स्वाद द्वारा मधुरता, खटाई, खारापन, कड़वाहट और तीखेपन को जानना.

Specific meaning :
indriya = Organ of sense / mark to identify the worldly living beings / a mean for worldly living beings to know the state of matters partially. Twenty three sensual pleasures of five sense organs :
1. Eight objects of pleasure of sparsendriya [organs of sense for touching skin]-Toknowlightness, heaviness, softness, hardness, coldness, hotness, oiliness and dryness by touching.
2. Five objects of pleasure of rasanendriya [organ of sense for tastingtongue ] To know sweetness, sourness, alkalinity, bitterness and acridity by tasting.
