I say (Just as consciousness of a man born without any sense organs (i. e. one who is blind, deaf, dumb, crippled etc. from birth) is not manifest, the consciousness of the beings of fire-body is also not manifest. )(Nevertheless) such a man (the one born organless) (experiences pain) when struck or cut with a weapon (and so also do the beings of fire-body). 53.
