अरणी का ही आश्रय लेकर रहती है, इसी प्रकार पुरुष का धर्म (ग्राम्य धर्म) पुरुष का ही आश्रय लेकर रहता है।
Dharma (spiritual order) is male-oriented. Dharma is maledominated, male-oriented, male-created and male-based. As a painful malady rises in a particular organism, is aggravated and is integrated so the spiritual order (Dharma) belongs to the individual and surrounds him like an aura. Similar to it, a wound grows in body, white ants in a sand-dune and lotus in a pond. These are all accretions of earth and thrive upon it. As fire sustains itself on fuel, so male individual should sustain himself on another of his kind.
धित तेसिं गामणगराणं, जेसिं महिला पणायिका।
ते यावि धिक्किया पुरिसा, जे इत्थीणं वसं गता।।1।। 1. वे ग्राम और नगर धिक्कार के योग्य हैं जहाँ पर महिला शासन करती है। वे पुरुष भी धिक्कार के योग्य हैं जो नारी के वशीभूत हैं।
1. The villages and towns administered by female rulers are reprehensible. The males under thumb of female are not worth the salt.
गाहाकुला सुदिव्वा व, आवगा मधुरोदका।
फुल्ला व पउमिणी रम्मा, वालक्कन्ता व मालवी।।2।। 2. वह सुदिव्य कुल की गाथा/प्रशस्ति के समान है, सुवासित मधुर जल के सदृश है, विकसित रम्य कमलिनी के समान है और सर्पवेष्टित मालती के समान है।
2. A female is bestowed with all honours. She is bewitching. She emanates fragrance akin to a blooming lily of the valley. She is like a snake-encircled jasmine.
हेमा गुहा ससीहा वा, माला वा वज्झकप्पिता।
सविसा गन्धजुत्ती वा, अन्तोदुट्ठा व वाहिणी।।3।। 3. स्वर्ण की गुफा है जिसमें सिंह बैठा हुआ है, विषयुक्त पुष्पों की माला . है, विषमिश्रित गन्ध गुटिका है, भयंकर भंवरों से युक्त नदी है।
