9. Ignorance defeats the prescription, combination and processing of herbs and drugs and cultivation of expertise.
विण्णासो ओसहीणं तु, संजोगाणं व जोयणं।
साहणं वा वि विज्जाणं, णाणजोगेण सिज्झति।।10।। 10. ज्ञान के योग से ही औषधियों का विन्यास, संयोजन, मिश्रण और विद्याओं की साधना सफल होती है।
10. Knowledge alone propitiates a happy prescription, . combination and processing of herbs and drugs.
एवं से सिद्धे बुद्धे विरते विपावे दन्ते दविए अलं ताई णो पुणरवि इच्चत्थं हव्वमागच्छति त्ति बेमि।
गाहावइज्जं नामज्झयणं।
इस प्रकार वह सिद्ध, बुद्ध, विरत, निष्पाप, जितेन्द्रिय, वीतराग एवं पूर्ण त्यागी बनता है और भविष्य में पुनः इस संसार में नहीं आता है।
ऐसा मैं (अर्हत् गाथापतिपुत्र तरुण ऋषि) कहता हूँ।
This is the means, then, for an aspirant to attain purity, enlightenment, piety, abstinence and non-attachment. Such a being is freed of the chain of reincarnations.
Thus, I Gathapatiputra Tarun, the seer, do pronounce. गाथापतिपुत्र तरुण नामक इक्कीसवाँ अध्ययन पूर्ण हुआ।21।
