((૧૨) સૂત્ર - ૧ :- ચાર અજીવકાય. ૪થું પુદ્ગલ
દ્રવ્ય.
– પદાર્થનું ઉર્જામાં, અને ઉર્જાનું પદાર્થમાં સતત રૂપાંતર ત્રિપદીની
નક્કર વાસ્તવિકતાને સિદ્ધ કરે છે. – ઉર્જા, અને પ્રકાશને વજન છે.
(अजीवकायाः धर्माधर्माकाशपुद्गलाः ॥१॥) પ્રત્યક્ષ દેખાતો પદાર્થનો નાશ એ ભ્રમ છે -
વીતરાગ સર્વજ્ઞ તીર્થંકર પરમાત્માએ બતાવેલી ત્રિપદીને અનુસરતા વર્તમાન ભૌતિકશાસ્ત્રના વિચારો છે તે આપણે જોઈ રહ્યા છીએ. “ઈનઓરગેનિક ઍન્ડ થીએરીટીકલ કેમેસ્ટ્રી” બાય જે. ડબલ્યુએલર’માં કહ્યું છે કે,
In all change of corporeal nature the total quantity of matter remains the same, being niether created nor destroyed (Anadi Nidhana) superficial observation might lead to the belief that, a growing tree, the evaprotation of water, and the burning of a candle prove creation and destruciton of matter, but a careful study of these and innumberable other phenomenae has shown that the apperent destruction of matter is an illusion.
The law of presistance of weight or the so called, law of indestructibility of matter menas that...... substance presists while matter changes its form. (દરેક મૂર્ત સૃષ્ટિના પરિવર્તનમાં પુદ્ગલ પદાર્થનો મૂળ જથ્થો સમાન રહે છે. ઉત્પન્ન થતો નથી અથવા નાશ થતો નથી. બાહ્ય નિરીક્ષણ વૃક્ષના વિકાસની માન્યતા તરફ લઈ જાય. પાણીનું બાષ્પીભવન અને મીણબતીનું બળવું પદાર્થની ઉત્પત્તિ અને નાશને સાબિત કરે છે. પરંતુ આનો કાળજીપૂર્વકનો અભ્યાસ અને અસંખ્ય ઘટનાઓ એ બતાવ્યું છે કે પ્રત્યક્ષ દેખાતો પદાર્થનો નાશ તે એક ભ્રમ
