Judge
"After carefully examining the body on the parts thus scraped to ascertain the kind of material out of which the idol was made originally, I came to the conclusion that this idol could not have been originally made of stone, but of some sand-mixed material. For this inquiry, I repeatedly moved my hand and even scraped the surface at those places with my nails and my opinion was confirmed. Thus the necessity of plaster for this idol is obvious. 27-3-1938.

( આ મૂર્તિ કઇ વસ્તુમાંથી બનાવવામાં આવી છે એ જાણી લેવા માટે મે મૂર્તિના અંગ ઉપર કાળજીપૂર્વક હાથ ફેરવી જ્યાં મૂર્તિને ખરડી કાઢવામાં આવી હતી ત્યાં નખથી પણ ખાતરી જોયુ તેથી મારી ખાત્રી થઇ છે કે, આ મૂર્તિ પત્થરમાંથી ઘડાએલી નથી. પણ રેતીમાં બીજો કોઇ પદાર્થ મેળવીને બનાવવામાં આવી છે. એ ચેાક્કસ ઠરાવવા માટે મે નખવડે વારવાર મૂર્તિ ઉપર ઘસી જોયુ હતુ. આ મૂર્તિ ઉપર લેપ કરવાની ખાસ જરૂર છે એવી મારી ખાત્રી થઇ છે. )
ઉપરના અનેક ઉલ્લેખાથી સિદ્ધ થાય છે કે આ તીમાં સેકડા વર્ષાથી શ્વેતાંખર મુનિએનુ યાત્રાર્થે આગમન ચાલુ જ છે તેમજ શ્રાવકાનુ` પણ આગમન ચાલુ જ છે. છેલ્લા ભાવવિજયજી ગણિના સ્તાત્રથી પણ ખીલકુલ સ્પષ્ટ છે કે-આ મંદિર શ્વેતાંઅરાએ જ ખંધાવ્યું છે, તેમજ પ્રતિષ્ઠા આદિ પણ શ્વેતાંબરાના
